If I were to pick one dance style it would be contemporary because it lets me show off my skills and express my emotions. It feels like I can tell a story through my movements, and that helps me connect with the music in a deeper way. Contemporary dance gives me the freedom to be creative and express feelings that I might not be able to say with words. It’s a way for me to be myself and share my thoughts through movement. I find contemporary dance to be an inspiration in itself.
As a young dancer The opportunity to be in a Music video with one of the most iconic dancer/singers in my life would not only give me exposure to a large audience but a valuable experience, open doors to enter a new world of dance. It would help boost my confidence and could add credibility to my future resume, Overall, it’s a great way to gain recognition, grow as a performer, and open doors to future dance opportunities I hope to seek. I would definitely invest a good amount in taking advanced dance classes, attend top dance conventions, and be able to travel for auditions or workshops. Maybe even build a mini studio at home. This prize money would really allow me to help take the financial burden off my parents for a while so they can step back from the extra work they find to help fund my and my siblings' extracurricular activities.
